Thank you for visiting and showing interest in the beta for By Gods and Kings. Below you will find more information regarding the game, as well as information on how to play the beta.
You can play both online or in person. We will be putting groups together through discord to play online through an already setup tabletopia gamezone. But, if you would rather, you are welcome to play with your own group of friends with your own physical cards. No matter your experience or your setup, there is an opportunity for you to join our Beta. We are looking for players of all levels of tabletop experience.
By Gods and Kings is a story that takes place in the fictional realm of Dun-I. Created by men and women who were exiled from a far away realm, these Gods ruled the mortals of Dun-I while living beside them. Overtime, their knowledge was passed down to the mortals and, after a series of events, the knowledge was contained in the Ul’mann, a mystical stone around since creation. The shattered Shards of the Ul’mann give mortals power to do amazing things, whether conjuring magical bolts of energy from their hands or summoning the strength to cleave an entire set of enemies.
In this game, you will collect shards to enhance your abilities and battle the enemies who wish to destroy Dun-I and all of humanity. Each story arc will allow the players to take control of characters of their own creation and they will interact with the story characters to pursue the narrative. By Gods and Kings is an immersive experience that will bring the players into Dun-I, where they will help shape the destiny of the realm.
