24 Hours to Launch

November 30, 2012

It’s amazing how everything has come together like it has. I’ve never been one to write down my feelings about something, but I feel that with this new chapter in what we’re trying to accomplish, this is probably the best way to go about keeping my mind on track.

For those who aren’t aware, my name is Chris Hamby, one of the owners and founders of this company and website. I am an author first before I am a publisher and businessman. I believe in helping authors reach their dreams and goals through an honest method that benefits them just as much as it benefits the bottom line. We can’t sustain a company without authors, and I look forward to working with them all personally.

It all started with an idea; an idea that grew inside me until I couldn’t hold it in any longer. After discussing with the other three involved with this project, we decided to launch it and make our dreams happen.

It’s been a difficult journey, but I hope the end result is what we’re after, and here’s what we’re preparing to offer. My job, outside of being a co-owner and founder, is to spear head the creative control of the publishing sector of our business, and I am very excited about it. As an author, I understand how the process works and I can appreciate the time, effort, and work put into a written piece to make it what it is. I understand the devotion that is required to create a quality work and I look forward to putting more works out for the world to see.

We have two works nearly ready to publish and launch on the site with hopefully more to come soon. While not prepared to discuss them fully, I will mention that both are in the fantasy genre and am really excited about one in particular. As the process continues, we will mention the titles and what not in this blog, so stay tuned for the developments.

If you have written or want to write a work for us, we’d be happy to look over it and tell you how to get it published and into our library.

Best of luck to all of the authors and thanks to everyone so far who has visited ScribbCrib.com.
